Re: The De-Berniator
I'm ridiculously late to the party (life's been wild) but GeraldManns, thank you so goddamn much for this. I remember exactly where and when I first heard Give 'Em Enough Dope (twenty-one years ago driving down I-75 to Cincinnati), and I'll always remember exactly where I was when I heard the de-Ber...

Re: Upping Street Vinyl Mix?
Thanks, Flex! Yeah, past five or years or so have been crazy and I've been kinda off the Clash/IMCT bus, but I'm fixing to get back on.

Re: Upping Street Vinyl Mix?
Hey TeddyB, check this out - pretty sure this is what you're looking for. I uploaded this CD-R bin/cue rip back in 2015. https://mega.nz/#!F9lgDShQ!sU2KYCNTn7QH11RUjbKdOr5lAW68oJUkbZdWho3SBJI Here's the full thread for context: https://clashcity.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=10387 Heston, that CD-R...

Re: No 10 Upping St 12 inch mixes
I'm pretty sure the No 10 CD was released after the LP, they weren't released concurrently. The LP had different mixes of several tracks, V Thirteen and HB being the most noticeable. The No 10 CD contained alternate versions of those two songs, plus the three extended instrumental mixes at the end. ...

Thanks for sharing those FLACs, Esmark. Glad I can finally upgrade my old 128kbps CD-R of this!

Re: No 10 Upping St 12 inch mixes
Here's the original LP version of No 10 Upping St shared on IMCT back in 2008 or 2009. I don't recall the original file format or quality - I burned it as an audio CD-R and then deleted the original files. I uploaded the CD-R here in bin/cue format to avoid adding a lossy generation to it. The Peter...

... on repeat. If, incidentally, people haven't heard the EP above, definitely check it out. Different to/faster/more brutal than the Let's Go tracks. Seconded on that. RRR is awesome. There's also a bootleg out there called Demolition Sessions with further alternate faster/more brutal takes...

Re: Complete King Biscuit Flour Hour 2-13-79 available?
Does anyone have the megalist version of the speed corrected 1979-02-13 show (lossless) as well as the KBFH 10 song version from the m-list? Here's the 10 song version from Wolfgang's in WAV format. I burned it straight to audio CDR when the Wolfgang's show first went online in 2008 or 2009 (no add...

Re: Stooges: Ready To Die
I've seen reviews cite the ballads as the album highlight. Bullshit. Easy out to say "the ballads are better because they reflect maturity." Yeah, I can't stand this line of thought, and I see/hear it all the time on NPR and the like. Anything acoustic/ballad driven or singer/songwritery is automat...

Re: Funny/Blatantly Comedic Songs By Legit Artists.
I saw Mojo at a weird bar on the outskirts of San Diego once. He did a new song that seemed like an exercise in how many times you can feasibly say fuck in an actual song. I think ICP set the standard with 93 While we're mentioning late-...

Maybe they'll eventually post a survey to determine fans' top 5 live shows and release five studio Best Of comps sequenced in line with those setlists.

Re: Group therapy. Let's talk unpopular musical opinions.
Woof . Yeah. I'm not convinced even Hoy or Still216 (Hoy without the Hoy) will defend that. I wouldn't put The Great Milenko on the same level as Ice-T and PE's best albums, but it is a genuinely good album (to me). And it somehow has Slash and Steve Jones on it. And it's by far their most accessib...

Re: The whole work at home thing..
I will say that I also don't think in terms of making my money from my music. People say, "Well, this kind of stuff is easy for you to say, because you can make a living from your music." I make my living from my work. I'm not playing music right now. I am WORKING right now. I will be writing check...

There's always this. One of my favorite BAD tracks, and easily top 3 of BAD II.
