Re: Earthquake Weather Redux
This past weekend was a holiday here in the States. I got to sit my ass on a beach with some of my favorite beverages and dive into Marky's newest gem, Earthquake Weather Redux. Was there any doubt it was going to be amazing? No! I enjoy the album without feeling like Joe's vocals were fighting to t...

Re: Walker early drafts
I don't know how I've misplaced this but I can't find it on any of my drives or music libraries.
If anyone would or could be so kind as to re-up or pass along a copy, I'd be so thankful.

Re: Earthquake Weather Redux
I did some skimming and sampling and I think you've made this unsightly, unloved child of Joe's a lot more presentable, even, perhaps, likeable. This version really does make it a much better listen. :approve: Just saving us from having to hit "skip" on *that track* made it superior! I...

Re: Earthquake Weather Redux
This feels like a trap … :shifty: You know you can trust me. There is also a laugh out loud comment in Marky's notes. Just saw them! It immediately answered my question about the obvious omission. Cutting to be very, very kind. Downloading now but wondering if the obvious omission is really a...

Re: Walker early drafts
For the past month I have been obsessed with the Walker score, and unfortunately I made the mistake of ignoring this when it was initially shared. If anyone has a copy and is kind enough to share it with me privately I would gladly appreciate it. I'm sorry but I can't find my download. I must have ...

Re: Live at The Music Millennium
I have a hazy recollection of a poster either on this or another clash board explaining it was his partner doing the back up singing so she was definitely just a member of the audience. Was a few years ago but remember it being a very cool story. Thank you for the info. That is a cool story and now...

Re: Live at The Music Millennium
Not sure who the singer is but thank you for alerting me to this recording. I was able to track down a download and gave it a listen, i had a good laugh at joe's adlibs . Yes, Joe seemed to be havin’ a great time playing and ad-libbing. I wish they could have found something else for side 2 in...

Live at The Music Millennium
I was just listening again to this acoustic set from ‘99 on my RSD Black Friday vinyl. Does anybody know who the female is that was singing back up medley during Junco Partner? Just wondering if an audience member was the voice. I thought it worked well and enjoyed it.

Re: The Jim Jones Revue
It's me again looking for some Jim Jones Revue tunes and hoping for some help locating... Specifically some B-sides that never make it to the US apparently. Rockit Orton (b-side to Dishonest John) Bag O'Demons (b-side to High Horse) Rompah Stumpah (b-side to It's Gotta be About Me) Relentless Peopl...

Re: Greatest (Favorite) Live Album
I'm going to be pretty basic and vote for Cheap Trick Live at Budokan. Budokan is obvious, but I think one important factor is if the live album recontextualizes or some how alters your view of the original/studio material and I think Budokan is a great example of that. The studio version of I Want...
