Re: Lewisham soundboard

Good luck with Lewisham Hypothetically, if you get hold of it who is set up to do DAT transfers? I liked the idea of hits back but the stupid fake “encore“ stuck on the end was like they lost confidence in the idea We’ve had the cleverly sequenced story of the clash vol 1 The chronologically sequenc...

Re: Holy (Cut the) Crap: Amazing This is England cover

Sure that was posted here before. Shame he didn't learn the lyrics. LOL i was just going to say i liked that the lyrics were clear and easy to understand in this version  i'd never have figured out a lot of what strummer was singing if not for this group, they're great lyrics and deserve t...

Re: The Clash observations thread.

Re: Mogador 2nd night tape (24/09/1981) Final encore Straight to hell, janie Jones, pressure drop, garageland Long thought to be a fragment of a 1982 show I think it WAS Mogador all along The playing that night is very distinctive Janie Jones has a rearranged drum part that is in character with 24/9...

Re: The Clash observations thread.

I've listened to Cut the Crap more than the debut and London Calling combined. (GEER, S!, CR are top 3 in listens) There are no skips on CTC until Fingerpoppin! I just realised this is almost certainly true for me and i’m actually shocked In my defence i listen to live stuff more than studio by a l...

Re: Bond International Casino Remasters

Marky, did you get that wierd tape of the 9th i shared on here a few years back? i don't have it any more , too many computer crashes I'm certain it was a salvage attempt for the clash on broadway soundtrack lots of dub effects , bits of it worked, but the performance still sucked my copy cut out af...

hey Markey!
see what you can do with this new source for Liverpool 81
needs pitch correcting upwards but potentially could beat the old source if corrected

Hong Kong '82. minor fix, big difference

https://mega.nz/folder/ZiAVVCjJ#HwI-IFmFQSm1eIRuiTgagQ I used the 24 track mp3 version because its all i had This is not a bad recording of an FM radio broadcast, it's an excellent recording of an AM Radio Broadcast! The concert was broadcast on 864khz Medium wave and is affected by 2 heterodynes (w...

Re: The Clash observations thread.

Damn Pittsburgh 82 is f*****g good, actually its pretty perfect, great setlist (how often do you get car jamming, pressure drop and one more time in the same gig) Great audience, practically orgasmic If terry played like that every show i’d never slag him off. Love what he does in the breakdown sect...
