Re: The Clash observations thread.

I want to know what Clash songs are best suited to grocery stores and gas stations. "Lost in the Supermarket" won't help you find that tin of beans you are looking for. You get double points in Tesco if you use your Clubcard when 'The Card Cheat' is on. You gotta cheat, cheat if you want points. 🤣

Everytime I see "Budgie" I think of the Banshees and then get disappointed that it's the wrong Budgie. But you could be thinking of The Spitfire Boys/The Slits or Big in Japan or maybe some other Creatures. Oh I do, I do. I even think of the upcoming Miki Berenyi Trio tour featuring Lol Tolhurst an...

If "They were at the forefront of all those things" actually means at the forefront of bringing those styles to his attention then I think it makes sense, they certainly did that for me. Hmmm possibly. But surely a rockabilly band/artist would be at the forefront of that genre. And I'm sure you had...

https://i.redd.it/a6ln24sroitc1.jpeg The american ridicule of british food I always think is pretty weird. Aside from the tomato, this is pretty close to what you'd get at Denny's or whatever.
