Re: Earthquake Weather LP
I bought it when it came out and loved the cover but was truly disappointed in the music. Saw him live at the Palladium on that tour, was ready to walk out before the encores but stayed. I'd love to hear a boot of that show just to see if I think differently now with perspective.

Re: Sex Pistols
I truly believed in him, he did change my world but sadly he fell so tragically from grace and into not only a caricature of himself but just an old fool. Totally irrelevant for at least 20 years now. One redemption, he is retired and taking care of his wife, so there is a good man there, regardless...

Re: The De-Berniator
So maybe I let my emotions get ahead of me, halfway through I realized....this is still Cut The Crap and it still stinks but now sounds incredibly better.

Re: The De-Berniator
I'm late to the party but this is amazing! My brain is having trouble digesting these new sounds. This isn't just some Giles Martin Beatles remix this is something totally new, I don't know what to feel, how to feel or even to feel at all. What am I listening to? What is this? Is it from the fourth ...

Re: My next project...
[/quote] I will eventually finish this project but I'll only be sharing via PMs as some tosser has posted both the "Guttersnipes" and "Peacemakers" comps on the Punktorrents forum. This is completely against the idea of me making those comps for guys here and especially as I expressed no sharing out...

Re: Bonds 40 Anniversary
Is Bernie involved in any of this?...if there is money is to be made, and if it's a lot maybe something will happen. The band are not getting any younger and they, like everyone else, are probably thinking about their retirement accounts and taking care of their children.

Bonds 40 Anniversary
I wonder if there will be some type of 40th anniversary celebration regarding the Bonds 40th? There is some mention of it in the March Uncut magazine. It was quite a big deal in New York at the time.

Re: The David Bowie is God Thread
David's output was so vast and varied that not everybody is going to like the same time periods. I know people who love the Tonight album and love the Glass Spider tour, I don't agree with them but to each his own. I'm a big collector so I can find something I like in just about everything he did.

Re: The David Bowie is God Thread
I think Tin Machine is killer! Especially coming after his 80's trio of blahness it was a breath of fresh air. The Sales Brothers were a kick ass rhythm section and at the time not many people were playing like Rieves so it was unique. I really like about half of Tin Machine 2 but Stateside is just ...

Re: The David Bowie is God Thread
I happen to really like Tin Machine, and the one time I saw David on the street the only thing I said was "Tin Machine rocks", he just smiled and kept walking.....btw we just lived a few blocks from each other but only saw him on the street once
