Re: Sudden Impact!

Heavy metal and its attendant drugs and black magic concerns. Think those Judas Priest fans who heard backward messages in the records. And those bands making a profit from such things. Not a fan of Metal, I suppose...Anyway I was in the heart of the 80's Satanic Panic, growing up in west central F...

Re: RAMONES

I just found something interesting, sounds like this guy did something like Gerrard did and redid the EOTC album. I'm not sure what to think, but this is cool, he redid the Danny Says Demo into a really good version. Baby I love you is all wrong, he really screwed that one up, way to fast. Here is t...

Re: Ultimate cheer up songs

So many great responses from over the years, but when I'm really down, I mean in a dark place, I listen to In The Light by Led Zeppelin...crazy right? I never even listened to LZ until I was almost 30 years old

Re: R.I.P Brian James

I'm so gutted but I can't say this was a surprise, he really didn't look good on the Damned reunion. I love his work with The Damned and the Lords. I played that first Damned album so much I wore out the grooves, and the Lords were always one of my favs. I've seen Brian with the Damned back on their...

For a moment, from the title, I thought you might have been suggesting Kill All Billionaires

This is amazing, thank you so much for sharing. Without being a PITA, can someone tell me which is the best sounding. I went to 2 of the shows and they were both excellent.

Re: A defense of Eric Clapton.

Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page do an amazing instrumental version of Immigrant Song with Jeff doing the vocal melody on his guitar. It's amazing, if you are into that stuff.

I enjoyed the new video from Billy, I really went into it thinking it was going to be awful but it's pretty good, That's a good package, Joan Jett and Billy Idol tour I enjoyed it as well. I really wish I liked Joan more (I should like her. On paper, she's a kickass musician and feminist), but I do...

Re: RIP Rick Buckler

The end of Funeral Pyre is like a freight train moving through. Powerful. Agreed that's brilliant. Ahh Man, it sucks to go away and come back and find out someone died. I love the Jam, I remember when Sound Effects first came out and I was like WOW! This is great, loved them and most of Weller's st...
