Re: White Riot: Documentary about Rock Against Racism Festival
Cheers. Might not bother then, I've already recorded it off the telly. Thought there might be a few interviews or deleted scenes or a commentary. I'm a sucker for a commentary.

I saw SLF cover Teenage Kicks at Manchester Apollo once, dedicating it to "one of our favourite bands" so it obviously didn't work both ways. You couldn't really dislike the Undertones though.

Re: Radio Clash lyrics
I'd always assumed, probably wrongly, that the morning of the 6th was a reference to the bombing of Hiroshima at 8.45 am on 6th August 1945.

Anyone who went got a match report? I've heard it was a slight disappointment. Topper didn't show although Johnny Green took his place and said he was okay. They showed the short of Kathy Burke meeting Strummer when she was sixteen as an extra before Westway which reduced the Q&A time to twenty five...

Re: Who's been to the exhibition then?
The Jam exhibition was about the whole history of the band going right back to childhood so obviously there was a lot more to see at that one. If you're coming to London anyway I would definitely recommend you pop in and of course the museum generally is quite interesting so you don't have to only v...

Went on sale to BFI members this morning and sold out very quickly. I paid forty eight quid for a membership to get priority booking but didn't get one. So that went well.

Re: New Mick biog
Did Mick start supporting QPR in the sixties like the book claims? I thought he started in the eighties. Certainly didn't go to Wembley in '82 because he was doing an interview in Portobello Road for NME with Joe,Bernie and Paul just after Joe's bunk.

Re: New Mick biog
Hello everyone, finally got round to registering. Was at the book launch last night. Mick O'Shea did a reading but unfortunately nobody thought to bring a microphone so very difficult to hear him over the conversation and shouts of be quiet. Ray Gange did a DJ set (always nice to see him) and the boo...
