Re: The All-Asshole Band

Exene Cervenka Seems to be a good fit for this band.

I dig it! Really cool to hear Paul use his voice and the duet aspect really seems to work. Like a post-punk version of Nancy & Lee. The recording/production is waaaay better than the Havana 3 AM album!
I thought the same thing. Definitely giving off a Lee and Nancy vibe.

Re: International Clash Day on KEXP

They played some interesting covers of Clash songs that I have never heard before. I also enjoyed the Don Letts interview. Some filler, but overall a fun day dedicated to the Clash on KEXP.

Joe Strummer release for Record Store Day Black Friday

I’m guessing this will be overpriced for what it is. They also probably could have fit the entire show on a 7”.

Re: Boston-November 11, 1999

Hi, the show in question was a radio interview on wbcn. Joe forgot his guitar and sang a cappella while playing drums on tabletop. I have a copy somewhere but haven’t been able to locate. We’ll worth a listen Thanks for the details. Sounds interesting. I wasn’t able to find much online. I don’t kno...

Re: Boston-November 11, 1999

Oops! Typo on the date. I think you might be right about the studio version. It would cool if it was just Joe doing an acoustic version though.

Boston-November 11, 1999

Anyone have any info on this? I saw the Boston show for November 22nd listed on BMC, but didn’t see this one. It appears to be a radio broadcast. Curios if the songs are in studio performances.

Radio Clash 103.8mhz Broadcast DBC(Dread Broadcasting Corporation) 04/21/1982

I stumbled across this on YouTube the other night. Not sure if it has already been posted on here, but I haven’t heard it before. It looks like it was recently uploaded. Fun listen. Re: International Clash Day

A great day of programming from a great radio station. If anyone missed it, you can stream archived shows on their app and online. The station is worth a listen beyond just their annual Clash show. And I'm looking forward to heading to the show tonight and check out some of these bands playing Clash...
