Re: Rockscene Festival July 13th, 1985 on Dime Torrents

It looks like someone uploaded a Mescaleros show yesterday as well:

Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros 1999-06-30 Irving Plaza - New York City, NY (Two Of Us Master Series Volume 72) DAT Master

I'll download it and upload it here for you all as soon as I get my ratio back in good standing.

Re: Rockscene Festival July 13th, 1985 on Dime Torrents

I finally started using Dime and saw that a version of the Rockscene Festival became available there in August. I'm waiting to get my seeding ratio back up (I'm not crazy about their system), so I haven't heard it yet. http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=713218 Hi Appleseed. I didn’t ...

I've retired.😉
I always tried to voice my appreciation along the way, but let me say thanks again for sharing all of your work. The Clash are my favorite band, and I love all of their work that came afterward, so you know how much all of it means to me.

Surprisingly good quality. Totally missed this on Dime. Sorry to hijack the thread, but I see references to Dime on here from time to time. Is it a private group? Does anyone have a link or know how you join? Thanks. Dimeadozen.org is a BitTorrent site. http://www.dimeadozen.org/index.php Thanks, S...

Re: Rob Peter Pay Paul

I agree it'd be amazing to get a new album. I'd go ape even for a new 7" with just Rob Peter Pay Paul. I love this song. Does anyone know how many versions of it they did on the reunion tour?

Re: Rat Patrol 2LP acetate

May be a little late, but many thanks to everyone who helped edit the original audio. Same from me. Thanks to everyone who helped on the audio! And coincidentally, I just correctly heard the closing lines of Straight to Hell for the first time after it being one of my favorite songs since I first h...

Re: The De-Berniator

It's been a while now and I've gotten over the initial freak out about this and have let it sit for a while. As I'm listening to it this morning I am still just amazed at how good this is and the amount of work that went into it. This takes me back to my initial disappointment/disgust of when this ...

I don't know how these work. How many of these acetates did they print? Presumably it was very limited.

Re: Rat Patrol 2LP acetate

I don't actually believe this, but let's say Kosmo Vinyl is being an absolute, not knowing his position jerk and stepping on Mick's toes and Paul, the least musical, worst vocalist of the band is also nearly coming to blows with you about the mix of a record. Would you then let them both humiliate ...

Re: Rat Patrol 2LP acetate

I guess Bankrobber doesn't really count on account of the band not actually "performing" it. I know i must have seen it at the time as i never missed an episode of totp but can't remember what my reaction was or what i even thought of the band at that moment. It's a totally unmemorable set of visua...
