Re: Hey Flex (All Encompassing 90's Glorification)

"In the Meantime" is a classic in my books and I'm glad to find out they had some other solid tunes. I kinda liked that back in the day—it caught my ear because it sampled Penguin Cafe Orchestra's "Telephone and Rubber Band" (which I only knew as the closing song of Talk Radio —but listening to it ...

Re: The Coronavirus Thread Of Good News

Bit of news for US residents. You may have heard that the feds are handing out free at-home covid tests. The program was supposed to start tomorrow, but the site is up and running right now, a day early - covidtests.gov. Go to the site and it takes about 30 seconds to fill out your name and address...

Re: The Coronavirus Thread Of Good News

For those of you in the US, you can get 4 free home tests each month. Very easy to order, took me about 15 seconds.

Good for the courts in Maine for taking a stand on this dangerous non-sense.

An announcement: I've got a lower back strain, on the right. Now that the shovelling is complete, my body has reminded me that I'm old. I'm sitting with a heating pad right now.
Hopefully you've already trained the Mrs. in how to operate a snow shovel, so rest up and get better soon.

Re: Beaner's and Rattie's Weather Porn Thread

I feel for you folks, I'd hate to have to clear snow each day. Thankfully it doesn't snow where we live. We contemplated moving to Washington state at one time, but my wife has already figured out that she's going to outlive me and told me she wouldn't be able to plow the driveway when I'm dead and ...

Re: What Are you Listening to Right Now?

Hello, New Elvis album - The Boy Called If. It's really good (but I'm a big Elvis fan) - big sound, no spoken word pieces, much more energy than Hey Clockface. There's nothing with the venom of No Flag but overall much more rocking, modern (production seems to be big here), and drums are prominent....
