Re: Big Foot

When my son was little he would come home from school with these books. Like monster and hero fantasy stories. In each book the hero had a new sidekick as he went on a quest to kill the monster that was plaguing a village. Very much a formula, different monster, sidekick and village but more or les...

Re: Big Foot

Who the fuck writes shit like that? It's a skill to be able to do that. There was a notable scifi writer in the 50s or 60s who, apart from his more serious, creative writing, could pump out trashy novels of maybe 30–40K words in length every four days or so. Re: The Trump observations thread

https://newrepublic.com/post/180750/trump-roasted-hush-money-trial-jury The possibility of him having a psychotic breakdown in the courthouse is not inconceivable. I'd be happy with him shitting himself and having to change his diaper and there's no way it can be denied. I'd be happy if he had a ma...

Last night I had a dream that I was the bass player in a band. We were in a crowded basement studio recording ska versions of Smiths songs. Our lead singer was the actor Jimmy Smits. The name of our band was The Smits.
You had to have played "Unlalawvable."
