You know, I'm not sure any of you really like music at all.
You know damn well I only enjoy "funny" music
I'm only in it for the hectoring.

Re: Totally Radical! The All Encompassing Thread of 80s Awesomeness

No question, the decade had its share of atrocities. I think there's maybe a case for saying the good parts were particularly good and the bad parts particularly bad, though that's more idle notion than scientific reasoning. That's where I lean. Moreover, the stuff closer to the 70s is much better ...

Re: Totally Radical! The All Encompassing Thread of 80s Awesomeness

To clarify, is "80s music" a distinct category from music made in the 80s cos i think it's a pretty indisputable fact that there was a hell of a lot of good music recorded during that decade? Approaching half of the Clash catalogue for starters. And 100% of Clash II's! No question, the decade had i...

It's interesting that I hate 80s music but love watching the videos. The videos bring back lots of memories.
Yeah, they're triggers. Plus, as I've mentioned before, it's hilarious to remember how important videos seemed back then.

Re: Totally Radical! The All Encompassing Thread of 80s Awesomeness

The best I can say is that the 80s were better than the 90s because corporate interests hadn't shown much interest yet in the weirdo music. The fantasy of staying outside and underground still existed. Slow down there, Lenin. The Pepsi Generation knows all about the underground. We were slamming ou...

A little bit of both.
I can supply content on the awful part. :approve:
More so than WWK's efforts?
Mine will be intentional.

The possibility of him having a psychotic breakdown in the courthouse is not inconceivable. I'd be happy with him shitting himself and having to change his diaper and there's no way it can be denied.
