Obviously they were going for a sound and definitely succeeded. Not something I’m going to be in the mood for often.

These 70s KISS songs just sound like bad Skynyrd. Swans obviously covers a larger time period, so the sound change between these three songs is pronounced - one reminds me of Pretty Hate Machine era NIN (I'm assuming Swans is a big influence for Reznor). Okay, by no means am I endorsing that song, but that 80s production does it no favours whatsoever. In a more simple, straight-forward 60s environment, it might have been okay.

The low participation in this poll seems like a rejection of both bands. The decision not to offer a "None of the above" option seems wise.

I really just don't want to spend much time with either band, but I'll try to weigh in soon.
