Re: Stand up recs

Alright guys, I have to make an emergency 24 hour trip down to LA on saturday/sunday (no, I'm not going to try to win Marlene back) and I need entertaining bits for the drive. What do you recommend? Yeesh, I remember this trip. My friend's mom died and I still took the chance to make a Marlene joke...

https://twitter.com/REALpunknews/status/1405526275200929812 I saw Bela Fleck play once. I remember the drummer had some stupid setup. His wikipedia page pulls up this: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/a/a1/Futureman_Zoo_Tunes_2007.jpg/1280px-Futureman_Zoo_Tunes_2007.jpg "More recentl...

Maggie took on an excellent opportunity as co-director of Ballet Tucson, after a long time of trying to figure out what to do post-retirement from PNB. The upshot is that we now live in two separate states, which sucks already.

As this is the first time we're using 21st century tech, shall we do the original album?
I'd kinda like to do Gerald's since it's so new.

I missed this appearing, the banned (by New Line) video of the Fresh Prince Freddy song finally reappeared on the internet: Curiously, "Freddy" looks like a steampunk Frankenstein monster. The video makes the long ass run time a bit more tolerable, but it's still inferior to the Fat Boys authorized...

I’ll be honest: this is my anniversary weekend. Probably not gonna make it.
Bring along the wife!
Unfortunately, she has dignity.
If she married you, then I'm not so certain.

Shits all over that dreary cover the radio loves to play. https://youtu.be/CcNo07Xp8aQ Love, love, love this song (and album)! Bumping this post as I had this on earlie...

I'm about to start riding, so I'll have an audiobook going, but some workers across the street are cranking the first Van Halen album. They ain't talkin' 'bout love, they're wheelbarrowing dirt, man!
That's not a bad thing!

Re: I'm feeling Zorny

I got in the mood to listen to Zorn and his stuff just isn't on Spotify or Youtube. I'll have to dust off my cds I guess. I think there's a small amount on Amazon Music but yeah, he doesn't participate in streaming services generally. I get avoiding streaming, just a minor annoyance as I don't have...
