:ohboy: Nobody ever feared Whitesnake splitting up.
The fear was they might get back together.
And then, like an ancient curse fulfilled, it did. God, that fucking album plagued my high school.
Whitesnake or KISS....some choice!
Here I go again.

Re: Association Football Thread

Disagree mate. I hate the idea of the super league and all it's bullshit. But why should players and fans have to suffer just for greedy business men. That's just the way it is unfortunately, and a message needs to be sent out. There are precedents. Financial irregularities have relegated a few tea...

Re: When did tensions begin to flare up between Mick and Joe?

Let's not forget how much debt the band were into Sony/CBS for. This must've been a factor when you consider them not taking that break you mention. I think they were well out of debt by the end of 82. Combat Rock sold massively worldwide but especially in the States. I'm thinking less of the money...

Mixed grill Pork chop, bacon, mushrooms, eggs, chips, HP sauce... 20210420_181401.jpg My cholesterol levels are off the charts just looking at that, but damn it looks good. It's a rare treat as I've been on a healthy food kick since Jan 3rd. This is currently the longest I have gone without chocola...

Re: When did tensions begin to flare up between Mick and Joe?

This is when we really need Rattie. Based on my memory, there were always tensions, but things got better when Bernie first got the boot in 78 and they remained charged and unified during their first US tours through London Calling. After their successes, Joe seemed to feel some sense of complacenc...

Re: Final Round 5

Man, those duelling guitar solos in The End are one of the greatest moments in music ever. All three of them trading awesome licks. Then you have Ringo's excellent and poignant backing vocals on Carry That Weight. And Golden Slumbers ain't half bad either. What a way to say goodbye.

Fools.

I was thinking about hanging fire and voting tactically, but nah, Warm Gun is just blatantly the weakest song here.

Re: When did tensions begin to flare up between Mick and Joe?

I keep saying it but weren't they basically on a break from Autumn 82 until Mick's sacking nearly a year later? Aside from Hell W10 and the short tour before the US Festival there wasn't much going on. Was it not the inertia that caused the split with Mick?
