Never really thought about the humbling lyrics of SEH making the call to arms on ECW that much more impactful. Still can’t get into anything after track three though… We reach... Re: Topper to Join ex-Motorhead Eddie Clarke and Pete Way - NME, August 1982

Reading August 1982.jpg It became really "rock" for a few years in the 80s. I went every year from '78 to '98. All bar one year when it was cancelled. It was only half an hours walk from my house. Aww, you will have seen some legendary headliners. Nirvana, New Order... Budgie :twitch: Budgie were l...

Re: Topper to Join ex-Motorhead Eddie Clarke and Pete Way - NME, August 1982

Reading Festival, August1982... FB_IMG_1712683091669.jpg Very interesting. He was without a band, yet his song was riding high at the time. To be fair its real success was yet to come as it didn't go top ten in the US until early 83. It had reached a modest #30 in the UK a month or two previous to ...

Re: Guns on the Roof - Word podcast

Cheers for this. Haven't listened yet but Hepworth is a notoriously smug wanker, who regularly panned the Clash in Smash Hits.

Re: Previously unheard tapes. NYC Fayles Library. Update.

That undated Mick tape is extremely interesting. I remember Greg posting on the facebook group a pic of the cover to that tape, it’s the very first BAD demos right after TRAC didn’t work out. The TRAC tape too could potentially be better quality as well, both of those I’m highly interested in. Hope...

Re: The KISS thread

So you're for calling voodoo dolls "fan art" now? If it could be in Heston's attic I imagine that it's pretty much the Bizarro version of Mick's shed. Lots of empty super noodle packages, VHS tapes of The Beachcombers , and one counterfeit Frankie Goes to Hollywood shirt. Don't forget a ...
