Re: Marky Dread Remasters

A brief history lesson: In 1977 there was this music called punk rock, it sounded like this. Another awesome Marky Dread remaster. Johnny Too Bad > Johnny B. Goode Chuck Berry and Lee Perry! Hey Ian (ic1960) hope you're listening! ;) https://mega.nz/file/cRwB0CCS#aApVeq3M-srmxCTOYvqahguVJ...

Re: Clash City Showdown is back in print

Still got a copy of the invoice in mine from when I bought it. January 2004, very scary! Great stuff that it is back in print, I hope it sells well. It got me through a shaky flight to Majorca in August 2004. I knew Gary Numan and the Iron Maiden bloke were pilots, I didn't know Shakin Stevens was ...

Re: Kool Aid question

Does he have any credentials other than dialing the wrong hit man? I think he had a ranch in the old west that he used to look after. I don't think he made it out of Wayward Pines. Is the second series any good? I have only seen the first one. Both really good. Shame it stopped though. Thanks, I'll...

Re: Kool Aid question

Yes I agree let's get Mickey Dolenz to remix it. ;) I was thinking Matt Dillon. Does he have any credentials other than dialing the wrong hit man? Best wishes mate. Hope the cricket does the thing that makes it good
That made me laugh out loud.

Happy birthday Tom, have a great day. Looks like it might be 2021 before we can meet up at Old Trafford for a cricket match.

Re: The Clash observations thread.

I've listened to Cut the Crap more than the debut and London Calling combined. (GEER, S!, CR are top 3 in listens) There are no skips on CTC until Fingerpoppin! I just realised this is almost certainly true for me and i’m actually shocked In my defence i listen to live stuff more than studio by a l...

I just read the BMC review. This is going to be awesome. Thanks a million Marky (and Sparks!)
Turn the lights out listen in a quiet room and you're there.

Cheers mate.
Up to Charlie Don't Surf at the moment. It sounds brilliant, thanks.

Yeah I've read all Graham's write ups. They make great reading whilst listening. I will do a file check tomorrow to see what's what.
I have had his reviews open too while listening, and have to go back sometimes to check out some of the things pointed out in the review.

Re: Bond International Casino Remasters

BMC says this for the evening of the 6th;"The first encore begins as usual with One More Time with an ‘atmospheric’ guitar intro start. A strong, if not again at Bonds, exceptional performance. The energy and intensity levels then peak as the band tear through three blasts of raw rock’n’roll; Brand ...

Re: Association Football Thread

Come on Brentford!!!!!! I thought they were going to do it in the 2nd half of extra time until Fulham scored again, they looked dangerous. Got to feel sorry for the supporters with that track record in playoffs ☹️ It was there for them with two games to go, after WBA slipped up. A shame they didn't...

Re: Bond International Casino Remasters

I'm trying to match up my listening of these to the dates (albeit two months late). No doubt doomed to failure, but I enjoyed the 31st show yesterday. Thanks Marky and as I think you said earlier in the thread, a shame that the encore is missing.
