I can't hear you. The waves splashing against my yacht are dreadfully loud today.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑26 Jan 2023, 9:49pm
I guess the old saying is true: People from Connecticut can go fuck themselves.

20230126_181002.jpg We had over a pint of snow today. We were more of a 26 of rye today. For those recording such things, the pile on the curb is now higher than me. I've started shovelling stuff across the street because it's easier than adding to the pile. I could drive to both your houses inside...

Re: Return of the Mighty Observations Thread
Charles Darwin would be proud. Reminds me of those Darwin Awards books. Extremely mean-spirited, even cruel, in retrospect but I got a chuckle out of those back in my ignorant youth. Sort of like the Herman Cain Award for COVID deniers who get COVID and die. Very funny and enjoyable while callous a...

Re: MLB 2023
I met Fred Lynn at an autograph signing in Denver during the ASG a couple years ago. He signed an autograph book they were giving out for the event and then he signed my kinda-dirty/sweaty baseball hat I was wearing. He was a little skeptical but he did it. Kinda funny. He was a nice guy for the 45...

Re: "I said-a hip, hop, the hippie, the hippie" - The Hip Hop Thread
Forgot to post this yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrFOb_f7ubw Irrespective of the, uh, problematic video, I feel like the beat on this song has aged better than a lot of the other Bomb Squad stuff from 87-91. It almost seems Dre/G-Funk influenced with the slower tempo and eschewing the...

Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
I don’t understand burgers that you can’t cleanly pick up and eat with your hand. I could care less about the ethics (humanity is doomed) but I’ve cut out most red meat and pork for health reason. Turkey burgers are often moister and more flavorful anyway.

(Sammy Hagar is whoever is the shittiest Rudy Wells, in case there's any doubt.) Wasnt there an even shittier VH singer ? Jenny might need to consult with her in-...
