Re: The KISS thread

Kiss Manager Credits Success to ‘Four Chords and Bad Lyrics’ https://ultimateclassicrock.com/doc-mcghee-kiss-success/ There is no way KISS doesn't jump aboard that NFT bullshit. Immense environmental destruction for a quick cash grab with zero artistic merit? That doesn’t sound like the KISS I know...

Re: Greatest Album of 1979 - Preliminary Round 3

The Germs' (GI) i sitting at three votes and I'd like to send out a plea for any stragglers to consider getting it through the preliminaries. That album helped spawn the hardcore movement and it remains one of its finest exemplars. Every track on it is a classic. It's worth remembering that, when t...

Re: Pets.

Hooray! Can't wait for the pics.b Unfortunately not until Wed. We didn’t take any and now they’re getting all surgerized and stuff. So you'll have three female cats? Experience informs me that you won't have as many health issues—lord, male cats have plumbing designed by a god subcontracting to the...

Re: Pets.

So we went back out to the rescue for the POSSIBILITY of maybe thinking about, in the case of an absolutely perfect match, getting Charley a playmate, and long story short we’re about to go from zero cats in the beginning of April to three cats next Wednesday when their spays are finished. Hooray! ...

What that list suggests to me is that I'm a lot more tolerant of songs that made the Top 40 than those that went to #1.
Yeah. There are a lot of decent top 40 songs, but it’s probably been a good 30-40 years since a number one has grabbed me.

Wow, we have an Andrew WK thread?
Yeah, I had to Google his name, guess I'm a bit out of touch as I've never heard of him.
You are not sir.
Knowing his existence has neither provided value nor detriment to my life, if I’m being honest.
