Re: Previously unheard tapes. NYC Fayles Library. Update.
That undated Mick tape is extremely interesting. I remember Greg posting on the facebook group a pic of the cover to that tape, it’s the very first BAD demos right after TRAC didn’t work out. The TRAC tape too could potentially be better quality as well, both of those I’m highly interested in. Hopef...

Re: Mick solo Palladium NY 281091 RESTORED
It was a gig put on by a radio station at the Palladium. One of those multi-artist things. Can’t recall who else played or which station it was at the moment. Is the date correct? I would have thought it would have been in late September during the band’s run at the Sound Factory. Joe and the Pogue...

Re: Mick solo Palladium NY 281091 RESTORED
Great find mate. So, what's the story behind? (It seems to me that in october 91, the Farm was the opening act for the BAD II tour). And I've found this :https://www.jaehakim.com/1991/10/big-audio-dynamite-ii-detonates-a-powerful-performance/. The guy talks about an intermission (eventually "forgot...

Re: BAD 1986 Filmed Concert
Now if only we could get new recordings of them live. 1988 especially, the couple shows we have they sound absolutely at their peak. A full Bradford show is my holy grail.

Re: BAD 1986 Filmed Concert
Thank you! Even with the not great sound it's still great to see any live footage of the band.

Re: BAD 1986 Filmed Concert
Maybe a long shot but I remember quite a few years ago, someone on Youtube uploading a ton of BAD videos, was I think every single live performance on TV they had. The person had also uploaded a fully filmed concert from 1986. That channel is long gone and I never saved it but I was curious if anyo...

Re: Boots Galore - The Request Line
Does anyone have the Christchurch 1982 gig? The one where people petitioned The Clash to play there instead of skipping them like most groups do. I think it's the only decent sounding gig with topper that I've never listened to before. Would greatly appreciate it 2nding this thanks 3rding this than...

Re: The Clash - Tokyo Bombs Bootleg
I love the sound of this boot, it's loud as hell and that's what the Clash should sound like. Having Topper's drums be really upfront in the mix is great too. Also, an incredible adlib from Joe during Radio Clash that I never noticed with the old boot of this show, he sings the "save us not the whal...

God, it's so weird to me they played Protex Blue in 1981. It's an alright version of it too, makes me wish they played it a few times more.

Re: Boots Galore - The Request Line
Thank you so much! I will hopefully report back soon with a matrix if I can get it to sound good. This is unsolicited advice, but you could expriment with demixing the drums and vocals (maybe the bass too, if it separates well) from the SBD and mixing them in the center, with the rest either left o...

Re: Boots Galore - The Request Line
Posted this in the megalist thread but I'll try here as well. Does anyone happen to have the Capital Crisis audience boot for the Capital Theatre show from 1980? Was considering trying my hand at making a matrix for that and the soundboard. Thanks! capitol crisis CD FLAC https://we.tl/t-G8TDGejUuH ...
