Re: The Great Thread of YouTube Magnificence!
No doubt this has come up before but I'm not up for trawling through this thread. For these three minutes and twenty one seconds in 1988, Kim Deal was the sexiest creature who ever drew breath. Re: Happy Adventure!
Badlands is one of my favourite films. The best killers on the run flick ever made. Great direction, good acting, beautiful sound track. Hard to beat. Watch it one a double bill with Cool Hand Luke.

Protex Blue's a good song, good subject matter, shitty lyrics.
My vote for aggro is definitely What's My Name.

Re: Mixing Know Your Rights video
Those records would have been so much better done as live as possible in a grungy studio in London. With a real producer. Same songs, same personnel, whatever. Wrong place for the Clash. Good Lord, Christopher. You appear to be agreeing with the NME. He's nearly finished downloading all the Friendl...

My brother was playing guitar hero the other day and Sweet Home Alabama came on. I looked up from my book and said "This sounds a bit like Werewolves of London."

Maybe it has something to do with that half strummer-half hagar you're carrying around. EDIT* yeah, what mate said I'm really curious what that kid is going to be like in fifteen years. Musically speaking, of course. We won't be with it. We'll find it strange and scary. Only because they changed wh...

Re: Jesus H. Christ.
I found the linking arc about the creative between the short stories a bit of a downer. Which sounds trite about a Palahniuk book, but there it is. What do you mean by downer—downer as a disappointment or downer as, well, depressing? Actually, both. I know that the reviews for Haunted were rather m...

Re: you've got to be effing kidding me...
It actually does get better/more appalling : the banks are also using the bail-out money to donate (duh, buy) to Congressional campaigns. So, tax dollars are being given to uber-rich asshole fuck ups who then use it to buy the people giving them the money. Utterly shameless and contemptuous of the ...
