Re: Without People You're Nothing
I'm often not the best judge of these, but the second untitled track does sound a bit reggaeish to my ears anyway so I'd bet that might well be Bases are Loaded. I'm tempted to guess the same. And this is really just a wild guess but the title "Steady America" sounds to me like a sunny day cruisin'...

Looks like it, it's the same cover image.laxman wrote: ↑15 Nov 2022, 6:56amhttps://clashcity.com/boards/viewtopic. ... ts#p365272
I'm guessing it is this? Thanks for sharing.

Re: Joe Strummer - 66 rarities
Took a bit of effort but got this downloaded. Those file hosting sites were pretty scammy. It's got no track numbers so defaults to alphabetical order, and the post itself is alphabetical too, so hard to put it into a more logical order. For example there's live Pogues tracks but they're not all tog...

Re: (Wanted) Permanent Record
Thanks Flex! Dunno why but I didn't get the usual notice that a reply had come, so didn't see this until now!
And thanks marx, I didn't see the Australian one when I last looked (though it's $74 inc shipping!)

(Wanted) Permanent Record
Dunno how, but I stupidly assumed that this sound track only had Trash City on it, so I never got a copy back when it was likely cheap and easy. Now it's very expensive to get on vinyl or CD ($391 for the CD on Amazon  ), and streaming sites seem to miss half the songs including the theme son...

Something you might enjoy mate. Was going to include this with the LC box set but had enough material already. https://mega.nz/file/TuwhhagR#qNh5kyqv84MdB5Lha2Ze3nJ5XUd1MIdlAxfxvMnfxVE Great work. Just a suggestion, a super duper black market clash would be pretty cool Excellent idea how soon will ...

Re: The New Ska Thread
The new Interrupters album is really good. I've been giving it some listens this week. It may end up being my favorite of theirs. I really like the direction of their Hepcat and Skints collaborations. I really like the production. God I wish they'd produce Rancid albums. Gurewitz murders them and a...

Holy fuck, Opelousas Sostan would have to be the catchiest song I've heard in a decade. Instant love.

Re: Joe Strummer 002 coming soon
So this Paul Hicks guy who remastered the Joe/Meskies box is working on The Beatles stuff. Look at this screenshot of Ocean of Dreams. The instrumental version we had and the Vocal version on the new box. The brickwalling is laughable. Why do they even pay people to do that? A computer programme wo...

I do not like Prince. and the Ramones. You are something else, that's for sure. I listen to the Ramones about once a year. Prince, never. Don't forget Bad Religion too, you hate them. I don't like Bad Religion either. The Ramones are over rated (but not bad). Live Ramones sound better than their al...

Re: So what's your concert schedule looking like?
Yeah I've seen them a few times too, at summer festivals that I can't really remember. Another annoying thing that happened is during the Circle Jerks set, mid-song, one of the Pennywise guys stood on the side of the stage to watch them (I could tell by the hat, yes). The crowd starts cheering. The...
