Re: Patriots Of The Wasteland box set.
I know I will echo all the comments already made, but thanks for this mighty effort Marky. I've played through the lot and thoroughly enjoyed it - I never thought I'd say that about this Clash era!

Thanks for the link, an interesting listen. Also, I didn't know 'Battle of Wills' had been reissued through Bandcamp, so now have a copy ordered.

Another Pretty Face cassette release
Does anyone have a copy of Another Pretty Face's 'I'm Sorry That I Beat You I'm Sorry That I Screamed But For A Moment There I Really Lost Control,' a cassette-only release from 1981/82? Does a playable copy still exist? I've hunted around and can't find any for sale.

Re: Justice Tonight - The Farm with Mick Jones
Came across this and thought you all might enjoy it. Sound quality is pretty good IMO. The event was the last date of the Justice Tonight (2011) mini-tour which campaigns for justice for the 96 people killed in the 1989 Hillsborough disaster. Mick Jones, Pete Wylie, and The Farm (w/special guests G...

Re: Dog in a Satellite lyrics?
I would love a Legacy Edition, but agree there's more chance of Celtic winning the Champions League. It's a pity CBS/Sony don't allow someone like Cherry Red Records to do it on the cheap - they release a lot of material that's hard to find otherwise and seems to do it in an affordable way. Actuall...

I realise that it's not likely to happen now, but the idea of a Legacy Edition of No.10 Upping St is still very appealing to me... Re: Earthquake Weather Redux
This really is fantastic. To paraphrase Brian Clough, I wouldn't say it is the best remaster ever, but it is in the top one :) 'When seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.' Best press conference answer ever? Even made me, a non United fan, laugh ...

Tom Gribbin & The Saltwater Cowboys take on Guns Of Brixton. From 1981, the first cover of a Clash song released as a single? I have a copy of that. I think they were playing the Wembley C&W Festival and wanted a 'local song' out as a single, so did this after someone played the original to them, I...
