Re: Trivia Question

Any clues on success of single?? Was it a top 10, 40 or didn’t breach the 100? Yeah lots of clues as i dont think anyone will score here. I wouldn't say it's a trick, but it is quirky. Was a top 10 hit, this bands only real hit, close to one hit wonder territory. You might have forgotten it but rec...

Re: What Are you Listening to Right Now?

Again borrowing from the Clash, signing to a major and then having a hit in the US bigger than even the Clash ever did was their "he who fucks nuns will later join the church" moment. Yeah it's true. I think in fairness if you want to fight corporate rock and change anything you have to at least be...

Re: Trivia Question

At least it was a good cross field pass that led to your brilliant strike. :approve: It was a beckham special, right on the nut! Kind of related, a weird bit of trivia i recall from years back. What is technically the longest single ever released? Any clues on success of single?? Was it a top 10, 4...

Re: Trivia Question

Yes! Marky was on the right track. 1min.27 long. Peaked at no.2 in 1957, made it to no.14 in 2007. It was marky with the assist. I just dinked it in from 2 yards like Ruud van Nistelrooy. I thought there was a rule that singles had to be a certain length, thought 90 secs but maybe it was 60 or mayb...

Re: Trivia Question

I think you'd have to know it to get it tbh. Good track but not a huge hit. Clue would be it would only apply on one particular format.

Elvis - Party is pretty short. Is it that one? Yes! Marky was on the right track. 1min.27 long. Peaked at no.2 in 1957, made it to no.14 in 2007. It was marky with the assist. Re: Trivia Question

Signing in for the Wonderwall hate fest. I don't like any of their songs but have come to like Noel. Seems like a fun chap who doesnt take himself all that seriously, like the guy out of happy mondays.

Re: Trivia Question

Good answer. Was working the charts the wrong way down. Another piece of useless trivia i just stumbled across, in 1995, owing to some or other format change, Oasis were at both No.1 and 71 with Some Might Say in the same week. I'm just happy to say this track has completely left my mind, if it was...
