Re: Patriots Of The Wasteland box set.
Well Marky, you have done it again. Your audio skills seem to evolve and improve with each project. There are some real creative placement of instruments all across this project. Detail in songs like Fingerpoppin' I've never heard before and a balanced mix to boot. This Is England is a standout mome...

Re: Carbon Silicon I Loved You
It's years since I listened to them. A "best" of with some judicious edits would be great. Agree. When I'm finished with my current project then maybe we could all chip in with some tracks selections and acceptable time lengths etc. And I'll work on a nice comp. 😎 Thank you Marky, you have the skil...

Re: Carbon Silicon I Loved You
The Magic Suitcase has been on repeat here along with Really The Blues. Nice to see some good vibes around the old C/S stuff. I agree with Heston's comments about a Best Of.

Re: Carbon Silicon I Loved You
I would have liked to have heard a Bill Price mix of Psychotic Fish.
Maybe Mick and Tony will re-evaluate what they did for a future project.

Re: Carbon Silicon I Loved You
C/S had some great ideas, I only wish some of the songs had both a single (shorter) edit to compliment the extended jams.
Psychotic Fish, Cab Driver and Be Good To Yourself are great songs regardless.

Carbon Silicon I Loved You
Just having a blast of The News single by CS. Flipped over to the b-side and I Loved You is sounding great. Very punchy!.
It's a long time since I played this and it will be getting some more spins. Mixed by Bill Price no less.

Re: Life Is Wild lyrics.
Hi Marky, your determination to extract a viable work from CTC and its various bits and pieces are worthy of a Mission Impossible storyline. I look forward to your next audio archaeology expedition. May I ask, what software do you use to create the stems? I have a bunch of old demos my band recorde...

Re: Another Sandinista, this time instrumental
Sandinista is the gift that keeps on giving. The layers that are exposed just from the instrumentals shows how creative The Clash were.

Re: How about some love for Stop The World
It's incredible what you achieve with your craft. I can only imagine the satisfaction of creating the stems, then adding your secret sauce to create the remixes. I realised after I posted my comment, that the atmos setting was turned on in the playback settings of my phone. The effect through headph...

Hey Marky, your mix feels like it has more space. Have you used some sort of audio spacial enhancement?

If I was working on an oil rig in the 80s, I think Marky's Clash inspired work, would be keeping me entertained for a long time. Excellent artwork. Your projects keep on improving. Thank you
