Ticket is undoubtedly the weak link on the original album.
Although it manages to reference Ian Botham, which I always appreciated, as someone who played cricket.
'WG disgraced' is a great line too
Agreed!

Re: RSD 2024

I got an email saying the Banshees Nocturne double LP will be re-released for this RSD too. Some interesting ones in your list. I like that Slits album, particularly the later tracks. Dexys have a remix 12" out for RSD. Now you know you want it. Plus a Viv Albertine 12" single. Plus Rock Art 2LP on...

Thank you for sharing, I am enjoying it. Just got to Ticket and I'm glad the earlier posts explained it!

Re: Your most wanted 'lost albums'?

I guess kinda sorta the Troy Tate version of The Smiths' first album might qualify in this area? Easily found as a bootleg, but maybe an official release would have some unheard nugget. That's a great shout. The debut album came out 40 years ago this month so they've missed a trick on an anniversar...

Re: Your most wanted 'lost albums'?

It's just 10 tracks of Heston singing Angels at a karaoke bar. Which will make you long for the Robbie Williams version. :scared: I dunno, man, you've amped up the morbid curiosity factor for me. If there is one thing worse than Robbie Williams singing Angels then it has to be... I've listened to a...

Re: Star Trek

Has anyone watched Star Trek Continues? Once I got used to different actors playing Kirk, Spock etc I thought it was pretty good.

Slightly different today. I'm guessing "Hammered" for a headline tomorrow?
So we're 1-1 in head to head matches :shifty:
Good save!

Re: Heston and Marky's Friday Top 5

I fell off and grazed my knee. Luckily I had my elbow pads on. But like a trooper I got straight back up and on my ride. Think I might need to purchase a chain guard. Don't want to rip my new flares. Later today I'm going to attach some old football cards to my rear wheel if I can pinch enough pegs...
