Re: SCIENCE!
We were fortunate to have a warm clear day in April for this. It is a short walk to the lake overlook so we did the viewing from there although we would have had a clear view from the back porch. My cell phone pics dont do it justice. 20240408_152845.jpg20240408_152750.jpg Beautiful! We went outsid...

Re: Wildlife Encounters
This morning through a window I saw the hatchling mourning dove moving around quite a bit, went back to check an hour later and they've flown the nest. Can't seem to find them anywhere on our property, so we're hoping for the best.

Re: Wildlife Encounters
We've had a pair of mourning doves nesting under the front of our roof eaves for the past 3 weeks now. Today I was finally able to get a picture of one of the hatchlings peeking out from behind mom. One year when I was a kid, some robins built a nest on the light above the front door. Unfortunately...

Un-f'ing believable. https://www.instagram.com/p/C5XGWeRRM5W/?hl=en Uhhhh which nazis is she talking about? The Maine branch Oh, clearly she's talking about the "good" ones, you know, the ones that she doesn't have a problem with marching through the streets with firearms. Some more of those "good ...

Re: Earthquake Weather
Should we do a pool on the closest time to when your flight leaves? I'm picking 8.15 PM. If it doesn't happen by a certain time Ill be looking at tomorrow. Flight crews can only have so many hours in a day Is my 8.15 pick past that time? Also: Will the right blame the quake on DEI, wokeism, or a fa...

You'd think that by now the news would be filled with stories of her fellow GQP's disavowing and apologizing for her ignorant, insensitive speech, but nothing.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑05 Apr 2024, 8:24pmWell, it was, what, 500 years ago and the records are very spotty.

Looks very interesting, wish I could help but I'm on the other side of the country.
I'm not familiar with "The Peter Dougherty Collection", are these audience recordings he made or was/is he a collector of boots?

Re: Earthquake Weather
No, not the tepid album by Joe Strummer but a real earthquake just hit NYC! Never lived through that before, it was so scary. I don't know how people can live in California! I've lived in California all of my life and they still scare me. We have an outdoor storage shed with emergency supplies incl...

Re: The Future of the Republican Party
Thanks, I don't doubt it for 1 minute. Yeah, here we go, NYT profile of the RFK JR. campaign: This is a paradox of the Kennedy campaign. Many Democratic and Republican insiders view Kennedy as a danger to Biden’s re-election. Timothy Mellon, the top donor to the Trump super PAC Make America Great A...
