Re: Clash II barely played live rarities?
Yep, Brixton Academy '84 was Nick on vocals. Love his singing. I totally agree. Was that the only show it was played at? If that's the case, what a waste! It's still so frustrating to think about how great a "Spunk" tactic white label featuring the CTC material could have been, and it probably woul...

I was at the Roskilde show, and the way I remember it Vince White sang What's My Name. Could be wrong though...
Was North And South played at any shows besides the Brixton shows? I thought it was really good. Was that Nick Sheppard handling the vocals?

Re: Public Image Limited
Belsen Was A Gas (Demo) - Sept '77 This has been bugging me for a while now, on this demo John sings "Have you got your Dulux shade, different colours they don't fade" but by the time they get to Winterland Jan '78 they soundcheck with the version we are all familiar with. Years later when they ref...

Re: Soundboard recording of Clash II from Stockholm 1984 + Bonds
Five Alive is the lowest gen available, and as far as I know it's never been upgraded in 20 years so what we've got is what we've got. I do know the FLAC rips made a hell of a lot of difference from the shitty old MP3's that were polluted all around the 'net dating back to the Napster era. A clean ...

Thanks - they were both fast on the case though :-)Dr. Medulla wrote:If they don't reply here, I recommend sending a PM to matedog (keeper of the megalist) or Rat Patrol. Those two are the most reliable sources of knowledge on the board when it comes to boots.

Re: Soundboard recording of Clash II from Stockholm 1984 + Bonds
I've never heard any good soundboards from Clash 2 other than GEED (Give Em Enough Dope). Same here, that's why I'm so surprised by their appearance... The 2/17/84 and 3/1/84 are allegedly soundboards, but have always sounded pretty crappy and distant. Five Alive sounds like an audience recording t...

Soundboard recording of Clash II from Stockholm 1984 + Bonds
Hi all, thank you for contributing to such a great forum! I was wondering if you could help me out with some tips or information. I’ve been a Clash fan ever since I was blasted with “Clash City Rockers” at top volume one evening in the north Vietnam countryside back in 1979 (long story...), and I’m ...

Re: Cleansing the Palate
Many thanks for posting this show!
However, the archive seems damaged, I've tried downloading it four times and the same tracks get corrupted each time I unpack it.
Could you please try uploading a new RAR file? I'd be eternally grateful, I used to have this show on tape but lost it ages ago.
