Re: Whatcha reading?
Just finishing Helen O'Hara, What's She Like, and have to say, if there's a less rock n roll musical memoir out there, I have yet to read it. Which isn't a criticism of the ex Dexys violinist in any way, she comes across very charming and interesting, but the warts and all intimate details you ofte...

Re: New song from Simmo and Galen
The actual tune would need to grow on me but I like the style of it and Simmos vocals are fine. Whets my appetite for more at least.

Re: Currently watching.
Watched E1 of The Gold on the beeb about the Brinks robbery and looks like a stayer. Always a bit of a sucker for a good heist or crime caper so this was always right in my wheelhouse.

https://i.redd.it/wt89uneqcfja1.jpg Not half bad though. :shifty: Wont that just double the problem? I think they are hoping that once cut in half the homeless won't be able to walk to the soup kitchens and then will die of starvation. So eventually there'll be many less homeless people. Problem so...

Cheers Sparky. I've found LRW '89 shows quite hard to come by so this is very welcome and appreciated. Always liked their Mag 7 version and I think they only added it that year.

Re: Heston and Marky's Friday Top 5
Have a look at what you could've won! A gameshow based around the resolutely working class pursuit of Darts that had as its top prize a luxury speedboat. I loved the magnificent absurdity of it and the fact the only couple that actually landed it lived on the top floor of a high rise. Couldn't make...

Obviously didn't win the Bully "mystery" prize then or you'd be zipping down the Thames in your brand new speedboat! I should've stayed out of the black and into the red, there's nothing in this game for two in a bed. Have a look at what you could've won! A gameshow based around the resolutely work...

Didn't like Hey 19 for years, or at least paid zero attention to it, and then one day I heard it on the radio and, for some reason, it just clicked. Now I quite like it.

Re: Currently watching.
Well, poop, Avenue 5 was cancelled. Wonderfully insane. Alas. I'd completely forgotten about this show. Didn't even know a S2 existed so I have that to look forward to at least. If you liked the first season, you’ll like the second. But it neither worked for a lot of poopyheads. :meh: Definitely wo...
