Re: The Future of the Republican Party

Thanks, I don't doubt it for 1 minute. Yeah, here we go, NYT profile of the RFK JR. campaign: This is a paradox of the Kennedy campaign. Many Democratic and Republican insiders view Kennedy as a danger to Biden’s re-election. Timothy Mellon, the top donor to the Trump super PAC Make America Great A...

Re: The Future of the Republican Party

No Labels announces they have abandoned their 2024 Presidential hope for backing a 3rd party candidate. Call me cynical, but in the back of my mind I suspect RFJ Jr was secretly receiving support from both them as well as the Trump campaign or RNC. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/apr/04/no...

Re: IMCT Running Club

Saw my doctor on Monday, he said let pain be your guide, so I did my first run in about 7 weeks today. Ran a much slower pace (9.56/mile) for about half the distance I normally do, my left knee was a little sore, so I iced both knees when I got home, feels good now. Funny how after not doing a part...

Buddy was just given 0-3 months from the vet. She said he has the largest heart she's ever seem but we knew that already.
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that, so very sad. I hope the vets wrong and you have a lot more good, quality time together.

This was the top of my street the other night. A tornado touched down in my neighborhood. Thankfully, all of the dogs (and humans) were unharmed. It was nuts.
Glad everyone is OK, hopefully your neighbors fared as well as you did.

Updated the site and uploaded. - all pages are now reorganised and a lot clearer. - huge amounts of new material - everything from 76-80 uploaded, a lot from 81-83 not yet done. - finally, my favourite nugget - the radio promo from Hampton 7 April 1984 - odd error, will correct in the morning Thank...

Re: Jamaica World Fest 1982

Still, you did get the Grateful Dead playing from 4pm till 8am (that can't be right can it?! Maybe it just FELT like it) Not necessarily. During this era, it wasn't unusual for the Dead to play three hours at a clip (two 90-minute sets with an intermission, IIRC), so four doesn't sound like such a ...
