Re: When a new official release for The Clash?
That's a terrific pic from the CR sessions. Unless I've completely forgotten it (possible), I had never heard of any Burroughs involvement. I'm assuming that's who "Burrows" refers to. As for your list, excellent work. The CR and Clash II era definitely could produce more. Andersen and Heibutzki 's ...

White Man shared this and I've cleaned it up. Re: US North
The Daleks handbag was the Roland guitar synth ! the same as TJ in Sputnik. The lyrics are obviously Strummer though. I think you could have shown me the words written down, and without being given any clues, I would have been able to identify them as Joe's work. Agreed. "In my time I had a lick of...

(Busking tour) https://mega.nz/#!rwkWwCRD!_Lw_AngT83spa5aj2ZIMrrOEz0IbsbvHETZW5MvkUI0 This one has demanded repeated playing the last few days. The CTC songs are perfectly acceptable and prove they could've been so much better tha...

Thanks for these! I've listened to the version of the US North from the new set over a dozen times and can't wait to hear what you two did with it. Also, I'll be listening to the busking show pronto. I appreciate them. Thanks for sharing!

Next up: University of Leeds, West Yorkshire, October 27, 1977. Dedicated to my pal Mike. The BAD Files
I can't recall if that series of bootleg rarities comps ever had a physical release or was digital only? I downloaded them back then, but can't find my old copies. The few I've seen floating around on my usual file-sharing program are all 192kbps.

Re: Marky Dread Remasters
Have a soft spot for US Festival given it was first tv footage I saw of the band playing live. Never watched it with any sort of discernible critical apparatus I have to confess. That said, Tucson isnt a show I'm all that familiar with so really looking forward to downloading and having a listen. J...

Can't sleep, so my pain is your gain. Brixton Academy, London, December 6, 1984. Have to say that the opening "One More Time" is a killer version. https://mega.nz/#!3gNSRIib!x4472s6CMlzxm6dUcGmwqBfo4YXGv9lfF5iOHf7T3j4 Wow. I went away for a few days and came to find I'm nine shows behind. I will ca...

Re: NEW JOE STRUMMER ANTHOLOGY?
Wow, some really interesting stuff on this. Other than the previously unreleased stuff, we'll finally have cleaned up versions of Burning Lights and It's a Rockin World. Am I reading this right that Pete Howard gets cowriting credits on TIE and Pouring Rain??? I don’t think so. The names listed are...

Re: NEW JOE STRUMMER ANTHOLOGY?
Oh hell yeah it's finally happening! I can finally hear the studio version of US North, and I'm so happy about it. I've waited so long to hear this as it's one of my favorite songs ever, I can't wait to see what it sounds like with Joe and Mick. Will be cool to hear the differences in the 10 minute...

Re: NEW JOE STRUMMER ANTHOLOGY?
I had settled on getting the book and CD for $39, but after looking over the contents of the deluxe set I'm going to have to get it. I don't want to pay that much extra, but I must have that US North demo. Honestly, I probably won't open it and will download everything. I just want to have the physi...
