Hmm, I failed to back this show up possibly because we were missing it earlier. I am out of luck. Does anyone else have this show?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Cut the Crap remixes are up - Fingerpoppin' and This is England. They are interesting to say the least.

An upgrade.

Fixed "I Fought the Law" and improved the sound slightly.

is this enough to get me the mogador soundboard? ;-)

now if only we could get the cut the crap multis they really do need a remix!
It's funny that while isolating joe's vocal track, you still can't make out anything he says at the end of complete control.

Am I hearing this right? If I download these files I can get the original multitracks of these Clash songs? I've never used Audacity, is it hard to use?
Any tips appreciated JJ.

I had no idea that he was double tracked with all the noise on the song. I thought Equaliser was the only double track Joe vocal.

I'm enjoying this site. I just downloaded Gimme Shelter to isolate Merry Clayton's "vocal de goddess".

Yeah that's what these are. I'm not an Audacity expert or anything but it's pretty easy to use just to listen to these. And definitely worth it. Just open the files in Audacity and you can play all the tracks at once or mute certain ones.

What is with the crowd sing along tracks on Should I Stay?

Cheers JJ, having fun with these now!
Would anyone know the best way to transfer these files to a digital 8-track recorder?

Any one have the 12-7-84 Brixton Academy show? Only the night before is on the mega list.

I don't know how recent this mentioned "excellent upgrade" is but the soundclip on BMC sounds a lot better then the version I burnt to CD years ago.

http://homepage.mac.com/blackmarketclas ... caedm.html

edit: never mind. I see there's two listings for 12-6, the second one is actually the 7th.

Just found this on the site:

"Also, with a good portion of the songs that were included on the game disc, as well as a majority of The Who songs, there is an additional stereo track at the bottom that is a crowd singing along with the song. This is not an official part of the song, but in order to avoid compromising the quality of the audio, I'm leaving the .moggs untampered."
