Yes!
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Tracks 18 and 19 (8 and 9 on disc 2) aren't coming in right. I can't tag them properly either. Any chance you could re up just those two track?

I found the same result. I'm also having trouble with the FLACs for 09/02/82 - "Pier 84" Dr. Pepper Festival, NY NY.
All of them have failed for me in multiple FLAC readers and converters. If anyone has valid replacements, an upload would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Philby

What was weird with the 9/2/82 show and probably the same for this show, was that when I converted it to mp3, it worked fine.

I really appreciate all the time and effort spent by people to archive all these great Clash shows, especially the 7 tracks from 10 May 1981 at Jaap Edenhal, Amsterdam.
But then I listened to the full show, soundboard, 16 tunes, "remastered" by sonnyburnit. It's from the same source as the 7 tracks but to my ears, the remastering has added way too much bass (60 - 100Hz) and ruined it a bit. There's now this background rumble throughout.
I tried undoing the damage (Wavelab, Voxengo EQ) but the original still sounds better.

Soooo..... is it possible to get hold of the original full recording somewhere, UN-remastered?

Try this.

By the way there was two attempts at cleaning up the sound one by myself and one by sonnyburnit mine had less bass than Sonny's but most folk seemed to like sonny's best however i'm convinced mine has been used on the bootleg available from here : http://www.rednotebeats.com/The%20Clash ... terdam.htm.

Cheers MD.

Why hello there,

I downloaded the Paris 1978 gig earlier and in fact found there to be no Blitzkrieg Bop cover. If anyone has it, could they please upload it?

Cheers all,

George

There is no need to upload Blitzkrieg Bop because if you actually listened to the show you will find it is towards the end of track 11 Police And Thieves, it is not a complete cover.

Also (and I love live Clash with all my heart), it's not really that great a cover...
