I downloaded and listened at work today, didn't notice any songs cutting off.

ps. Nice work Marky, it sounds much better than the previous version I had. :approve:
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Do you mean missing songs? or cut short? I was not aware of any faults let me know as the flac files I have play great.

O.K. just downloaded the vbr mp3's the only thing I find missing is Joes shout of "hello hello" at the start of CCR which is strange as it's perfectly clear on the flac files I have how odd. :meh:
My download must've gotten corrupted because I redownloaded and all the files are fine. And I do hear the "hello hello"...

It is amazing that this site has links to download so many rare Clash shows. Someone has an unbelievable collection. I just wish I could hear some of these shows especially the great quality ones like Boston 82, in lossless quality.

They're around; just sign up and ask. Also on Dime-a-dozen frequently.

The new phase of IMCT will include lossless uploads as well as high bitrate. I have a few up (type Ctrl+F and lossless) and will add more as they appear on dime. Unfortunately my hard drive is at 98% capacity, so the recent ones have only been backed up by mp3.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I already have 3 DVDs of stored ahem, movies. It just sucks when it's a 90 minute video with one worthwhile scene

Why do they have to appear on dime first it's not the only way they arrive. Also just because they are on dime does not ensure they are the best versions available.

It's pretty much the only way I have access to shows. Feel free to upload lossless and/or high bitrate versions of shows if you'd like. Any help is appreciated.

I do download them and compare them to what we have on the list and if they sound better, I upload them. The new Malmo show, for example is definitely inferior in quality to what was already on the list, so I kept the original.

Nice recording. Very, very different...almost sounds like one of the '85 Festival shows. The good: brings out a little more of the subtlety in Mick's playing (like the other '83 shows) to not have it murked up and over-crunched by the shitty guitar mix on the video source...and the treblier drums seems to bring out the lighter touch lost in Pete's playing lost in the pro source's heavy drum reverb. It's thin, but I dunno...trebly drums just worked for The Clash. The bad: lack of pro mix exposes this one as a much more lifeless show than it had seemed. Very stiff and rote. Sort of reminds me of Shea. And yes, I'll even call the drummer out on an off-night for his standards.

Does mean a remastered DVD with non-fucked guitar mix would probably be stratospherically great. But this show wouldn't have been half as fun to watch--or play--as the fantastic mini-tour dates.
