Strummer world service shows

Post by TommyGunn »

I want/need all the Joe Strummer BBC world service radio shows.

Problem is my computer is crap and I can't do the download thing. So can we do a old fashion trade?
Please PM me and we can work out the details I have over 400 shows to offer in trade.
Thanks for the help

I listened to one of these shows on BBC 6Music the other night, Joe was playing some strange shit. Saying that, there was a great version of "This Land is Our Land" that he played, but I can't remember who sang it.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Was it the original Guthrie version with all the socialist lyrics?

It was a live version, not Woody. I'm currently tracking it down.

His voice is better than Lee Marvin's!

The problem with Demonoids is that the access is only via invitation only. No use giving link when we can't get there!
I have most of the shows on CD (i.e., loseless) but you need to tell me what shows are listed at Demonoids.

P.S. Any chance you can get me invitation to Demonois? I am looking for a specific Trojan 3 CD set (but only need disc 2).

I was trying to remember where I knew the name Trini Lopez from.. turns out he's mentioned in the Squeeze song Picadilly: "The neon club lights of adult films and trini lopez".. I had just assumed he was a porn actress.
