Post by jumeteor »

A new show has surfaced. It is on Dimeadozen.

From the master. Sound is not great, around B-/B but better than most of other recordings of the same leg.

Safe European home
Jimmy Jazz
London Calling
Guns of Brixton
Protex Blue
Julie's Been Working For The Drug Squad
White Man in Ham Palais
Koka Kola
I Fought the Law
Spanish Bombs
Capital Radio
StayFree
Wrong `Em Boyo
Clampdown
Police and Thieves
Janie Jones
Complete Control
Armagideon Time
English Civil War
Garageland (on the same file as ECW)
Bankrobber/Rockers Galore
Tommy Gun
London's Burning

What a set. Damn you people who saw the Clash.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Thanks chuck! Cool that new snows are still popping up. Not many good sounding shows from this leg so that helps. Still waiting for something pristine to emerge.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

The 1982 Encores downloaded for me but I've tried twice to get the other '82 and '80 gig but mega stops at 99% each time and quits. Odd
