Cool. The non-Printemps tracks were seeded on Dime awhile back and I made a clumsy merge. I'll see if this is better.
Ithink the Printemps tracks are from the 18th this is the 17th allegedly.
Ah, very good. Is this one of your own fix-it jobs?
Yes I have tried to get the best sound I could. It's far far from perfect but a nice PiL snapshot.
It's been said before, but bears repeating: you're the champ.

Most of you will have these Studio roughs and Soundcheck takes already. But I have cleaned up the sound and edited them in a more concise fashion.Thrown in some new artwork for good measure. Because these were both on tapes being sent from the UK to the US they get lumped in together which is a shame as it's not even the same band playing on both.

Recorded at the Manor, Oxford, UK in 1980 during PiL sessions for the Flowers of Romance album. Levene plays guitar and bass while Lydon gets a co-production credit. As much as I dig "F o R" I wish it sounded more like this.

As per normal cleaned up sound and new(er) artwork...enjoy.

Very cool. I think I heard this—or something from it—years and years ago, but I can't be sure, so this is a bit of a lost treasure for me.

Robert Wyatt played percussion and Steve New again listed as Shooz plays drums, so it was most likely recorded at the same time as "Pied Piper".

Here's the original artwork for the 7" and 12" with some info, I forgot to put in the previous link.

Would anyone be so kind as to re-up that copy of Vampire? I didn't know it was even available!

And also the CZ demos? I found that I have the more completed version, but I've never heard some of those instrumentals on page 7 of the PiL thread in Cap. Radio.

Now, does anybody actually have CZ-proper in lossless? I can't find that one anywhere online in FLAC form and am still stuck with 128K MP3's.

It pops up on DaD every so often, tho a quick check shows there's nothing right now. Decent chance that Marky has a lossless copy, tho.
