One thing that people often forget about Lydon is that he often adopts a persona in public. That's something he said with regret about Sid, that he never understood that Johnny Rotten was just a persona and that he didn't need to be Sid Vicious twenty-four hours a day. The public sees more of real(?) John Lydon as he's gotten older and more reflective of his past.

At least I can finally pick up a physical copy of Plastic Box.
