One's the source soundboards for the Boston 9/7/82 and 9/8/82 tracks on From Here to Eternity...A+ sound and has all the songs that didn't make the cut. The other disc is the mostly-complete Boston 9/8 show, and source for the 4-song Sony Listening Tape. Lesser sound, but still an A-. Terry Tour performance, but pretty good one by Terry Tour standards.

Probably the highest sound-quality boot to surface in the last 3 years save for Amsterdam '81, and one of the few new ones this past decade to actually get a silver-CD pressing and nice pro-quality packaging.

Does anyone have Deinze Feb 21/84? BMC says it has good sound, plus a 30 song set!

I'd give it a B on sound. Clear and free of distortion, but very heavy on the low end and kind of muffled as a result. Sound quality dips dramatically on the final encore (Spanish Bombs and SISOSIG) for some reason, with those 2 tracks being almost inaudible. Overall I'd say it's good, but I'd rate the Stockholm and Dusseldorf shows immediately prior better because they aren't nearly as bassy on the levels. Main attraction for this date is the ridiculously long setlist, but they didn't play anything nonstandard for typical Feb/Mar Euro tour faire. Good listen, but I don't think it offers anything not fully-represented by much better-mixed sources from that week's other shows.

Charles, apparently there was an upgrade of this show (this download has to be the 2 and not the 4 sound quality). Do you have that by any chance?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
