happy 4th night of Chanukah to all on dimeadozen. it's a festival of lights, but also a holiday of clashes, so this seems a good choice for a holiday serenade. My apologies that this is actually only my 3rd upload for Chanukah. the economy's bad and there is a bit of a torrent shortage this holiday. I'm hoping to have 8 torrents for Chanukah, may have to skip a day or two, and the second one turned out to be unpostable, that didn't help, but I'm pedaling as fast as I can. I don't have alot of Clash, and this won't be the last one, it is my 1st Clash post, and it has some tape flaws from 31+ year old tape. I don't know if this has ever been circulated before, and may have helped record it. It still sounds pretty enjoyable, and it was a good performance. earlier in 1979 (February) the Clash played at Harvard Square Theater, so this may have been their 1st Boston appearance, unless they played a small club in the real early days. I think this was the 1st theater show for the Clash in Boston. I think it's the whole show. may all your clashes in life be concerts with THIS BAND. samples are in comments. enjoy the show. Ian

Shalom.
Anyone give this a listen? I won't be able to until tomorrow at the earliest.

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
Re: on dime
I can tell a difference but I can't really give a definitive opinion of which version (the m-list or this version) is superior. I was hoping this was going to be drastically superior or inferior. This new version is a little less loud and the sounds bleed together a little less, so maybe it's better?matedog wrote:Shalom.

Wait, I just registered and signed up for the account. When I click the link next to where it says "Torrent file" it downloads a text file, not a normal .rar/zip file.Rat Patrol wrote:http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-deta ... ?id=334141ImSoBoredWithTheUSA wrote:Where the tits is the link?

Do you have a Bittorrent client installed? The .torrent file opens up in there...it does absolutely nothing without the client.ImSoBoredWithTheUSA wrote:Wait, I just registered and signed up for the account.
