Pieces of the jigsaw coming together now. I have friends that live in same road as Dotcom mansion which is New Zealand's most expensive real estate. It is a completely over the top house out in the country that can be seen for miles around and is all lit up at night with neon lights. No one knew who the owner actually was other than the fact he made dotcom money although there were rumours that there was a dispute over the payment for it. I heard the original owners that built it haven't been aid the full amount yet, looks like they wont get it now.

I don't begrudge it after my 12,564 downloads.

I guess we'll find out how one uploads an international drug cartel within a 2 GB cap. :shifty:

DepositFiles was water-torture slow for me uploading the Shibuya show. Small sample size, but if takes 45 minutes to upload 584 MB that's not gonna cut it.

Hoy and I are discussing some options. If it came to a pay service, would there be much stomach for annual fundraising here?

That's very close to the megaupload speeds.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
