1978-12-28 London (The Lyceum) - Actually 1979-01-03
1979-09-08 Monterey, Tribal Stomp Festival - Not a SBD
1980-03-08 Passaic (The Capitol Theatre)
1981-05-10 Amsterdam (Jaap Edenhal) 8 tracks - We got 16 tracks now.
1982-02-25 Hong Kong (AC Hall)
1982-08-17 Akron (Civic Theater)
1982-10-29 Los Angeles (Memorial Coliseum) - I don't think this is a soundboard.
1982-11-27 Jamaica World Music Festival

See comments above.

We also have
1977-05-28 Leceister - Great sound, missing some key tracks though
1979-02-13 Cleveland - Top notch sound, top notch performance
1979-09-14 Chicago
1979-09-21 NYC
1980-02-18 Lewisham - TIV, Clampdown from the videos, Cap Radio and Armagideon Time from FHTE, Jimmy Jazz and ECW from FHTE 2 bootleg
1980-02-27 Paris (from tv rebroadcast)
1980-06-01 Bologna - Rough sounding soundboard
1980-06-03 Torino - Rough sounding soundboard
1980-06-10 Colston - Good sound, way sped up though
1980-06-14 Reittel - 14 songs, very good sound
1981-05-08 Paris - 11 songs
1981-05-09 Lille
1981-06-08 NYC - Bankrobber from FHTE
1981-06-09 - NYC
1982-02-01 Tokyo
1982-05-20 Lochem
1982-07-30 Brixton
1983-05-28 US Festival
1984-05 Give Em Enough Dope from various concerts
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

ahh i forgot to include audio shows from tv pro-shots
1977-08-05 Mont De Marsan Festival - Not a SBD
1978-12-28 London (The Lyceum) - Actually 1979-01-03
1979-09-08 Monterey, Tribal Stomp Festival - Not a SBD
thanks for corrections
1982-10-29 Los Angeles (Memorial Coliseum) - I don't think this is a soundboard.
hmm...why? both stereo channels are balanced, crowd is very quiet (typical thing for sbd) and except for little distortion here and there, sound is clean. for me it sounds like an old tv broadcast
1981-05-10 Amsterdam (Jaap Edenhal) 8 tracks - We got 16 tracks now.
in the same quality as the "old" bootleg?

thanks for help!

It's been a very long time since I heard it, but I don't think Lochem is a soundboard. Nor Lille, actually.

Off the top of my head,

Hong Kong 82
Stockholm 84
Ashbury Park 82
Providence 84
Paris 80

He/she already mentioned Hong Kong. I mentioned Paris. Good call on the Asbury Park. Not sure about the 84 stuff. The 1982-10-29 might be a soundboard, I won't be troubled to check. The 1981-05-10 additional tracks are stellar. Lochem and Lille have to be soundboards. They are pristine, vocal forward recordings with like zero audience sound.

EDIT per bmc on Lochem: A Dutch broadcasting station called VARA recorded The Clash performance live at the Lochem Festival and broadcast the main set only, in hifi stereo sound.
Lille: "A soundboard source, with very clear vocals and instrumentation but just lacking the maximum dynamic range of a pro-source."
1982-10-29 LA: "Sounds like a good FM recording with a great bass. Lacks the finesse of a pro sound but very good none the less"

Oops, meant to say Paris 84.

Ah. I recall Lille sounding good-not-great, but maybe I'm mistaken.

There's also a radio broadcast of Rockscene 85, which sounds like wet cat.

I believe 6 of the new tracks are soundboard and the other 2 were audience sourced
remastered by an IMCT member.

I misread the thread title as "Clash BDSM" and was afraid to click. :shifty:

These are conclusions I jump to now that LaVonne is back.

I think mine only has 7 or 8 too.

Hey, what about the 1/3/79 Lyceum show?!!! I don't think I saw that one listed.

I think LA Coliseum 10/29/82 is definately soundboard - no way an audience recording is going to have track separation like that.

Reittel should be 8 tracks.
1982-10-29 is a soundboard.
Lille is definitely a very good sounding soundboard.

Let me know if anything needs uploading.

Rattie, can you field this one? I'm not certain the history of those one or two songs that were brought in separately. Radio Clash or something.

It's a while back now but both Sonny Burnit and myself remastered the two rogue tracks to the best of our abillities to fit with the sound of the remaining tracks. Radio Clash and One More Time I think.
