With nothing in your gut
you better keep your mouth shut.

The Sex Pistols the only band booed of stage at Live Aid.

Steve plays on the Kiss Me Deadly album. But on Valley of the Dolls/English Dream it's Derwood Andrews.

Interview with Steve: https://www.loudersound.com/features/st ... -interview

Nothing new here, really, tho I wasn't aware of the Generation Sex for-funsies band.

Has Derwood ever been on Jonesys Jukebox. Would seem strange if not, given the format of the show and both being US residents, albeit miles apart

Generation Sex was around 4 years ago now. Steve, Paul, Billy Idol and Tony James. Played live with all the obvious covers.

So I went to see Blondie and The Damned last night, wasn't expecting much but wow was I surprised, guess who's playing bass in the Blondie band? Glen Matlock! I didn't know that! And put him together with Clem Burke on drums and you have a killer rhythm section.

Both bands put on a really good show, the Captain was sorely missed but the guy on guitar was really really good.

Both Clem and Glen have played together many times.

They were both in the band "The International Swingers" with James Stevenson (Chelsea/Gen X/Gene Loves Jezebel/The Alarm) and Gary Twinn (Twenty Flight Rockers/SpeedTwinn) .

Yeah solid stuff. Glens been involved in loads of good bands. "King Mob" were cool Chris Spedding, Steve "Snips" Parsons (Sharks), Martin Chambers (The Pretenders).
