How's the 30th anniversary edition? Very underrated band, imho. Got some shit as pretty boy sellouts but the "big label" records were still good.

The remaster sounds good. I've not done any comparisons through my software but I can hear more sounds coming through than the old edition. I bought this and the "Lovey" 30th anniversary edition. I'm a big fan of all their stuff. I like the punk stuff through to the Gram Parsons country inspired stuff.

It would be worth it, I've seen them twice, once in Kyoto at an elementary school and I was blown away. Saw them again here in NYC and they also were amazing. The future of punk rock!
They are doing a 2023 US tour, I'll def see them again

Juliana Riolino, All Blue. Okay, a backstory to how I stumbled upon this. A Subaru ad that's been running here of late:
I was struck by what a strong and confident voice she has, like one of those 60s/70s country pop singers like Dolly Parton. I investigated and found out the song was commissioned just for the commercial and hasn't been released, but the singer is an alt-country performer from Toronto who recently released her first album. And it's really fucking good. Flex, I think, would gnaw on this like a dog with a bone.

Hello,
Konk - The Sound of Konk.
Somehow these guys get lumped in with No Wave. I thnk it's half being out of the mainstream and half the time period. They are really good but if you're Melody > Rhythm, they are not for you. They are predominantly rhythm but more of a Latin kind of sound - not like Liquid Liquid. They're a very good listen for working out.

I love that band, didn't know anybody outside of NYC would have ever heard of them, another good band is Dog Eat Dog, not the metal band from New Jersey.gkbill wrote: ↑04 Dec 2022, 11:01pmHello,
