I’d rather be friends with the non-music fan.
Not a Pixies fan?
Kory has long advocated against fun.

I'd vote for Kory having the most "interesting" music taste here. Just what he likes vs. doesn't like is often surprising.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Agreed. While I feel safe in recommending stuff if it falls into particular genres, there are some fun curveballs in terms of what he hates.

He’s a reliable fan of trip hop and shoegaze and pizza toppings found exclusively in dumpsters.

Sorry but every time I hear "trip hop" I think of the dickhead DJ that would follow me back in the day. He was often late and was as alluded to a dick. Basically a smelly hippie type that played "trip hop".

Don't judge a genre by the dj.

I've warmed to them. I probably listen to them a couple times a year now.

As for the Pixies, Frank Black is the one I have the aversion to, if they had a different singer I would probably like them quite a bit more.

Voice primarily, I obviously listen to a lot of people with terrible personalities already. Although it doesn't help that he has deficits in both.
