Keeping up the ska (or ska-punk, in this case) for a few more entries here, this is a good punk-with-horns take on the old Grinchy classic. Bunch of exclusive holiday cuts were made for this comp on Cleopatra records, which we'll be delving into more through the years (ha).

I... find it hard to believe that we haven't shared this one yet. And yet here we seem to be. I'll pivot back to more Trojan-esque ska for another selection or two here, but enjoy a little more third wave ska-core while you're here. This one is quite good. Probably one of the last times No Doubt was this good, actually.

Flex's 25 Days of Christmas (Songs) 2020, Day 11: Dr. Ring Ding - Skankin' Around The Christmas Tree

Dr. Ring Ding is a German ska musician who has put out plenty of holiday ska music, this is an interesting promo for his 1999 "Skankin' Around the Christmas Tree" tour. These clips are a mix of some of his catalog and some holiday stuff in there as well. Kind of an interesting time capsule.
