Ive always appreciated Dark Peanuts, and there is no peanuts special nore nihilistic than Great Pumpkin. The children are right to lambast Linus, who stubbornly learns nothing at the end, perpetuating ignorance and suffering.

Plus, the rock gag stilk holds up imho
June’s not ready for Sleepy Hollow but seems to be enjoying this.
Edit can’t rotate the damn photo

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

31 DAY OF REMEBERING! Think I'll listen to at least one (1) spooky season appropriate album/track/whatever and share it here. Follow along... IF YOU DARE

Upsidedown Cross - Evilution

1993 sophomore effort from this New England-based sludge metal act. The late, great Larry Lifeless (an occasional Suth Putnam collaborator) is on vocals and this is definitely that great late 80s/early 90s sludge sound. Standout REMEBER tracks include the opening Black Mass in the Dark and the title effort. get stoned, turn out the lights, and liste to this record.

Black Mass in the Dark

Full album
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Love the avatar. I made the missus watch Carnival of Souls not too long ago. Such a cool movie.

Not music, but worthwhile:
