Great One Off Live Performances...
Re: Great One Off Live Performances...
For a group consisting of one man angrily ranting and another pressing a button on a laptop this is strangely compelling
Putting a little stick about. Putting the frighteners on flash little twerps

Saw them live, it was a pretty intense hour.
This is great but I prefer the demo version with the Yardbirds sample.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Wish a version with better picture quality was kicking around. Watch out - Strobe light warning.
Manics were still kinda sloppy in 94 and boy does it add character. Also, ain't no man what can abuse those unison bends like JDB.

I'm so punk, I don't even take my leather jacket off when it catches fire. Which it does frequently, because of how fucking punk I am.

There's some great stuff posted here - when do you ever see this sort of mesmerising energy these days? Or am I just getting old?
My contribution to the party. Pete Thomas drumming for his life, EC mugging away and having to change guitar, feedback chaos at the end.
Marvellous.

I downloaded years back. I transferred it from an old hard drive to a new one but sadly when I played it back it had failed.JohnS wrote: ↑08 Oct 2019, 11:27amYeah, me too. Yes, this is great. Some of Angry Elvis' best lyrics as well - so many good, cutting lines - sung with conviction.

Brilliant thanks John. I guess it is hard to come up with that energy and conviction when you are singing about shopping for new trainers.JohnS wrote: ↑08 Oct 2019, 10:54amThere's some great stuff posted here - when do you ever see this sort of mesmerising energy these days?
