Is there any significance about it beyond being a test pressing? Some kind of different mix or something?Marky Dread wrote: ↑16 Jun 2022, 7:49amCool. I wondered when that would get sold.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑16 Jun 2022, 7:39amhttps://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-suffolk-61800137

Okay, that's what I assumed. It's just a physical rarity thing (plus the significance of having actually been played on the air and providing important exposure).Marky Dread wrote: ↑16 Jun 2022, 8:27amNo same track/take/mix mate.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑16 Jun 2022, 8:17amIs there any significance about it beyond being a test pressing? It’s come in dribs and drabs these past 20 years, but we are putting together the pieces of the real truth to the Clash, dammit!Marky Dread wrote: ↑16 Jun 2022, 8:38amIt is Paul. Bazooka Paul. Re: Sex Pistols
Interested as hell in this, even tho the whole thing is wrapped in sadness. That's one bit of Sex Pistols history where I'm in total agreement with Lydon: there's nothing romantic about Sid's slow motion suicide (or Nancy's). It may have been inevitable, but it's horrible to objectify them as paragons of cool because of their self-destructive instincts.

A tragic tale. It's astonishing that Vicious was only 21 when he died. Only 19 when he joined the most controversial rollercoaster in modern music. Too much for a kid like him to handle.Marky Dread wrote: ↑17 Jun 2022, 6:47amPunk cool meets punk dumb.
