I do like the Healers though.
What are you, a nitwit? :shifty:
Good guitar riffs.
I think I heard the album once, around when it was released and have no lasting memory of it. Maybe I'll dial it up, maybe I'll just regard you as a nitwit. Hmmm, temptations abound …

If you need confirmation of my nitwittiness I have a wealth of hairbrained opinions and complaints I can share!

Umbrella's are useless.
Manual transmission cars are the only one's worth driving.
Pineapple on pizza is an affront to decency.
It's not a real town unless there is a diner.
They stopped making mead for a reason, bubble technology was achieved.
It's been all downhill in America since the moon landing.

Agreed
Agreed
No opinion
Um, sure
Yeah, why not
If we're picking dates, I go with RFK's assassination, tho my historical philosophy isn't really driven by big events

I’m going to try to split the difference:

The Smiths have a lot of good to great music. It is somewhat handicapped by lyrics that waver between preciously clever and mawkish.

Morrissey is a terrible person whose solo career isn’t as good as his fans want to believe it is, and his voice is very grating to a significant portion of humanity.

The best part of the Smiths is Marr’s guitar work.

Marr hasn’t done very much that is amazing outside of the Smiths.
I really like The Smiths and think Johnny is great but also want to mention that they had a great bassist and drummer. There were four real Smiths and they all made great music. Morrissey/Marr are only half of the story.
Oh, the rhythm section is solid too. I just gravitate to those sweet sweet guitar hooks.
Yep can't argue with that.
